Minorv1.95
Patch-panel cabling, custom rack depth & routing polish
New
- Draw a cable out of either side of a patch-panel port — patch-panel ports now behave like a bidirectional gear port, so you can start a cable from the left or right edge of any port instead of only one side
- RS-232 now works on etherCON as well as RJ45 — RS-232-over-etherCON gear (common on AV control runs) connects without a false incompatibility
Improved
- Rack depth is now a free-type field — enter the exact internal depth your rack uses (e.g. 585mm for an Austin Hughes 872 enclosure) instead of being limited to fixed sizes. Common depths (600 / 800 / 1000 / 1200mm) are still there as quick presets, and depth-fit checks and the 3D view follow whatever value you enter
- Job Sheet PDF export now starts the Rack Build on its own page, so the rack diagram no longer gets split across a page break
- Cables that have to wrap back around a device now loop cleanly over or under it instead of cutting straight through the device body — this used to happen when both ports sat on the same row
- When several wrap-around cables leave the same side of a device they fan into a neat nested staircase instead of stacking on one line, and every run snaps to the grid
Fixed
- Hidden cables that connect to a patch panel or wall plate now show that item's name on the stub label, instead of a generic "Target" / "Source"
- A single wrap-around cable now matches the look it has once it's part of a bundle — no more jump when you add the second cable
- The cable preview while dragging now leads out of the port's correct side, instead of briefly drawing backwards through the device when you start from an input
