Minorv1.98
Rack templates & in-rack patching
New
- Rack templates — build and patch a rack once, then save it from the Rack builder (File > Save Rack as Template) and drop it into any project (Add > Add Rack from Template). The rack, its gear and its internal cabling all arrive pre-wired on the cable diagram; templates can be shared with your team
- Rack patch sheets — Rack > Open Patch Sheet jumps to the cable diagram showing just that rack's gear and cabling (with whatever it connects to dimmed), so each rack can be wired up on its own. Library gear that only exists in the rack is put on the diagram for you
- Patch inside the Rack builder — the new Patch toggle opens a live patch sheet beside the rack elevation: drag cables between this rack's gear (and anything it already connects to) with the same port rules, colours and numbering as the cable diagram, and every cable lands straight on the diagram
Improved
- New power connectors by community request — IEC C1/C2, C3/C4, C9/C10 and C17/C18 couplers (common on vintage and hi-fi gear), mounted (captive) power cords, and coaxial DC barrel connectors
- powerCON TRUE1 is now its own connector type instead of folding into standard powerCON
- DIN connectors can now carry analog audio, for 5-pin DIN hi-fi and vintage equipment
- RJ45 and etherCON ports can now carry analog audio, for Cat5 audio snakes and I/O boxes
- Added S-Video / S-VHS (4-pin mini-DIN) and FireWire connectors (4-pin, 6-pin/400 and 800) by community request
- RCA connectors can now carry sync signals (genlock, black burst, tri-level, word clock and LTC) for consumer and vintage gear
- Added "Player" as a gear category
- Retired the rarely-used Vendors/Rentals tab to keep the builder focused — existing rental data is preserved and nothing else changes
Fixed
- Project list no longer shows 0 gear / 0 cables for projects first saved from the desktop app — counts are now derived from the diagram itself on every save, and existing affected projects have been corrected
- Team members can now restore archived team projects — previously only the person who created the project could restore it, and everyone else got a "failed to restore" error
