Minorv1.82
Everything lands on the grid
New
- Patch panels you design in the Patch Designer can now be added to your cable diagram — Add > Patch Panel lists your designs with their sockets mapped to the right port types, and the generic patch panel lives in the same dialog
- Placing a patch panel now works like adding gear from the sidebar: a ghost follows your cursor and you click the canvas to drop it exactly where you want
- Space + drag now pans the rack builder — the same gesture as the cable canvas (Shift + drag and middle mouse still work)
Improved
- The grid dots now mark the port rows exactly, and everything lands on them: cable runs, stubs, pivot points, auto-routed middles and loom bundles
- Pivot points snap to the visible dots when added, dragged, or placed in route mode — and can no longer sit on a cable's stub (drags stop cleanly at the elbow)
- Gear snaps to the port-row grid so its cables always land on the dots, however you move it
- Gear can now be placed close together — only true overlap nudges it away, with a clean one-cell gap
- Existing boards align themselves to the new grid the first time you open them — cables shift up to 10px onto the dots; routing and spacing are unchanged (freeform routes placed with snapping off are left exactly as you made them)
Fixed
- Number fields no longer revert to a default while you clear and retype them (nearly 100 fields across the app and tools)
- Crossing hops sit exactly on the cable they jump, including right next to stubs, and always paint above the cable they cross
- Text and borders no longer blur when zooming in
- Cables drawn from a flipped port connect to the right spot again
- Light cable colours like #fff get black number tags everywhere (cables, looms, patchbays)
- Paste and duplicate place copies a full two rows away again
- The background scale message now matches the visible grid size
